Linux is growing.
Well, if you have the same friends as mine, when you say such kind of thing, they just laugh, and consider you just as a junky nerd.
They may not be totally wrong, but a thing is sure : *you* are right, according to those xitimonitor stats.
To summarize, in just a year, Linux has taken approximatively 0.4 points, MacOS almost 0.9, and Windows … have lost more than 1.8 points !
Great news, and great evolution, certainly due to the emergence this year of the netbook market (most of this kind of machine are running Linux) …
One hope now : just hope that the 2008-2009 will be another Linux-growing year, due to the announced tendance for it : (smart)phones and other Linux-powered mobile devices …
